2015 Mazda6 Review

We were given the chance to review the 2015 Mazda6 for a week.

2015 Mazda6 Review

Mazda is my top pick for vehicles right now.  I love the safety features, the ride, and even the styles.  They’re doing everything right and you’ll rarely see a consumer rethink their Mazda purchase.

Mazda6 Grand Touring urchase Price: $29,895-$33,320 depending on purchase of optional equipment.

Originally I pictured myself purchasing an SUV and I still plan to do so, however the Mazda6 really showed me that it being a midsize sedan was no problem for our busy family.  The interior is roomy, the exterior looks upscale and sporty, making it an excellent family car for almost anyone.  It also handles extremely well.  We have been getting review cars for events and we took the Mazda6 to the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo.  On the way home from the Expo there was torrential downpour.  Everyone had their hazards on and the Mazda was outstanding during our trip home during the storm.

The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) gave the 2014 Mazda6 TOP SAFETY PICK+when equipped with available Smart City Brake Support.

2015 Mazda6 Review

The Mazda6 seats 5 passengers total, and comfortably with a carseat as well.  One thing I noticed due to the slope of the Mazda6’s rear window, was that my daughter’s face wasn’t constantly blinded by the sun.   I usually have to use a bunch of window shades, but we went without them since she wasn’t in the sun.

Just like the Mazda CX-5 – The blind spot monitoring system can be a lifesaver.  Not only did it alert me I couldn’t switch lanes, but it also alerted me when someone was about to come into MY lane.  Priceless feature!  *you shouldn’t solely rely on this feature, always check on your own too.

We had an absolute blast driving the Mazda6, and they really lived up to our expectation with another incredible vehicle.
