We test drove the 2016 Mazda CX-3 Touring AWD Review thanks to Mazda and DriveShop for a week. We had so much fun zoom zooming in this car. It’s compact and affordable! This exact vehicle we tested out totals $26,150. Base Sport starting at only $19,960. This is extremely impressive for an all wheel drive vehicle.
It was nice and roomy for my daughter and I. That being said, if you have a child rear facing the front passenger may be a little cramped. I’m only 5’2″ so I was able to sit in the front, but it was snug. Once we move her to forward facing we’ll have plenty more room, plus her car seat is pretty massive.
The front was nice and roomy with leather interior. We liked the dash and controls. For an affordable car it still looks like it’s priced higher. I just noticed now that my favorite song was on the radio. I love that you can see the title and artist. We love MercyMe and this song is GREAT! If you’re into Christian Music go ahead and check it out.
The trunk was nice and roomy. We were able to fit in a bunch of stuff! If you have a stroller you’ll definitely be able to fit it in with your stroller.
I’m a huge fan of Mazda and couldn’t wait to try out the CX-3. This vehicle is priced perfectly for a first car, it’s not too shabby for a family vehicle either!
We love:
- 16 inch alloy wheels
- all wheel drive
- heated front seats
- anti-theft engine immobilizer (our truck was stolen, so this is a big deal, must have!)
- blind spot monitoring
- rear view camera
We’re thoroughly impressed with the zoom zoom and vroom vroom of the Mazda CX-3. It’s definitely a car to consider if you’re looking for stylish, affordable and functional!
