We love making foods that the whole family will enjoy and that we can easily make for others too! This cold chicken pasta salad is affordable to make and it’s filling too! My family loves giving back; we always do it whenever we get the chance. Our local Stop & Shop is doing the Feeding America Program again, and we always participate and stock up on some Hellmann’s mayo, with our other favorites!

Whenever we have big potlucks in our community I like making a big batch of my chicken pasta salad recipe. It’s a simple pasta salad with chicken that you can easily whip up the night before or even the morning of the get together.

Feeding America Stop and Shop

I like to buy items for our family to enjoy, but we can also stock up on shelf stable items that are good for our local food pantry. With the Feeding America program, every $15 you spend on participating Unilever products, you save $5 and Feed 10 Families! Plus an extra $1 will be donated for every use of the campaign hashtag (#ChangeHungerChangeLives) up to $5,000.

Some shelf stable food items participating in this program are Hellmann’s, Knorr, and Lipton. Then don’t forget beauty items if you’re looking to stock up for your local food pantry to donate: TRESemme, Suave, and Dove!

Then there are some not shelf stable items: Popsicle, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, and Magnum.

We buy what we can to donate, and then get stuff for our home as well. I always like to donate during these times because it’s a double benefit between donating items purchased and then we also participate in the Feeding America program at the same time.

Stock up on your favorites to fill your pantry, but also make a difference for those who can benefit from great programs like this.
