Homemade Hot Chocolate Whipped Cream Recipe is delicious on its own, but even better piped into a cup of hot chocolate. Sponsored post by Mirum.
It’s safe to say I have a thing for hot cocoa. People need their coffee, I need my hot cocoa. Don’t get me wrong, I love coffee, but I would take a cup of fresh hot chocolate over coffee! How can you make hot chocolate better? Well, I think simplicity is best when it comes to hot cocoa, please hold the peppermint, hold the caramel, hold the sprinkles, hold the candy canes, and all the other over indulging sweets. I just layer the chocolate on my hot chocolate.
So how do I do that? Well, I make Hot Chocolate Whipped Cream then drizzle it with some homemade chocolate sauce. You could even sprinkle it with some cacao, but I get impatient after the drizzle happens and have to get the whipped cream as it’s slowly melting into the hot cocoa.

Nothing can stop my love for hot cocoa, it runs so deep that my daughter was passed down this irresistible love for hot cocoa as well. As soon as we feel a slight chill in the air, we’re off to the kitchen grabbing our hot cocoa mugs and nestling on the couch together while we snuggle buggle.
What I love about hot cocoa from Swiss Miss is how easy it is to make. I simply fill up our mugs with hot water:
Pour the packet right in and mix it up!
As soon as it’s stirred up I pipe the hot chocolate whipped cream in, it’s magic.
SAVE AT WALMART!
As you can tell we love our hot chocolate, thankfully Walmart carries Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix Envelopes, 30-Count for only $3.98 (same price for the marshmallow ones too!). I’m happy this little treat of ours is quite affordable.
Now I’ve been bragging about this Hot Chocolate Whipped Cream, it’s about time I show you how simple it is, right?
Make Hot Chocolate Whipped Cream
First things first, you need heavy cream and your favorite Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa.
Pour the Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate right into the heavy cream.
Start whisking, if you’re in the mood for whisking by hand (not going to lie, it is a workout!) you can do this with a hand mixer, stand mixer, or even a blender that can whip up the cream.
Viola, tasty hot chocolate whipped cream begging to be piped onto some steamy hot cocoa!
