We’re so excited to share and partner with Procter & Gamble for their New Pampers Easy Ups for long trips and potty training. My baby girl is fully potty trained and I’m so incredibly proud of her. We’re always traveling to see family which can be anywhere from 1-2+ hours away and she had an accident on the way to grandma’s house. We couldn’t get to the rest stop in time, and she was adamant about not going on the side of the road. Plus, to be honest, when I’m alone with her I’m terrified to just pull over on the Turnpike, it’s scary and I wouldn’t recommend it unless it was an absolute emergency.
The last thing I wanted was her to started regressing from potty training. Long trips are a part of our life and we’re happy that Pampers Easy Ups gives us an option. We never want to force our child to do something she doesn’t want. The last thing you want your potty trained child to do is become afraid of using the toilet. She’ll use ones at supermarkets and the like, but she’s very overwhelmed with the New Jersey rest stops. I can’t say I blame her!

When we do take her to a rest stop, she refuses to go. That’s why we always have the New Pampers Easy Ups with us! We put them right on before long travel and once we get to our destination, we can easily take it off. It not only gives her security, but it also makes sure she’s not going to wet through her clothes if she does have an accident.
I think she’s only had about three accidents, ever. I don’t want her to hold her pee, or to be uncomfortable; now she can have the comfort and sense of peace with her Pampers Easy Ups. I don’t mind just using the Pampers Easy Ups for security for now. Once she’s more secure with using restrooms outside we can stop. I still try taking her, but don’t force her, ever. She will hold it in as long as she can. Eventually we can find a smaller, less intimidating restroom for her to use. She just pulls down her Pampers Easy Ups and I hold her over the toilet.
Why did we choose Pampers Easy Ups? I tried to use up our last bit of diapers, and she was adamant that she’s not a baby, and she won’t wear or go in the diapers. When she sees a big girl just like her on the Pampers Easy Ups, she’s more willing to use them. I let her know that these are only for an emergency, and she is still a big girl.
My sister is getting married, and she’s about 2+ hours away. My daughter and I will be traveling down regularly, and Pampers Easy Ups will be great not just for the car right, but night time as well to ensure she doesn’t have an accident.
Pampers Easy Ups aren’t just for accidents, but also for potty training. My daughter couldn’t potty train regularly wearing diapers, and we had so many accidents in just underwear. With Pampers Easy Ups, empower your child and let them ease into potty training. They function just like underwear and they even have fun characters. They’re so easy for your toddler to pull on and off by themselves. Remember, this is the age where “I can do it”. Super easy on and off, no tabs to secure just up and down. Easy up!

I know that everyone googles how to potty train in a weekend, but the average child will take about 90 days to fully master potty training. Training pants played a vital role in our potty training journey since they look, feel and basically fit like regular underwear, but they have superior leak protection, unlock regular underwear. You can find Pampers Easy Ups at your local Babies R Us!
Take the “Do you know what to expect when you’re potty training?” quiz for the chance to win a $25 Babies R Us gift card and Pampers wipes.
