My mini chef is all about options. She loves to have a few different things. When it comes to cookies for Santa, she thinks that he will want more than just chocolate chip cookies.
Santa wants candies and “all the cookies”! Also, he doesn’t like just milk, he wants hot cocoa too because it’s cold outside. Santa loves options too!
What if we started making something new for Santa? Like a no bake treat! We went to our local Walmart and picked up Swiss Miss Hot® Chocolate, Peter Pan Peanut Butter, NILLA Wafers, chocolate, and holiday sprinkles.
My daughter is a pro in the kitchen. On Thanksgiving, my husband purchased some cookie dough (already made) and said to her “let’s make cookies.” Her response, “Okay, let me get the ingredients!”.
This no-bake treat is right up her alley; she still has ingredients to put together, but there’s no baking involved. No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies are a simple recipe for families with big or little kids to make together.
So when it comes to hot chocolate for Santa, we had to pick out the Swiss Miss® with mini marshmallows. Who doesn’t love this indulgent milk chocolate cocoa?
Making our No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies together was tons of fun. We love to mix and sandwich the cookies together and then dip them into the sprinkles. You could use any sprinkles you like, I let my mini chef choose whatever she wanted at Walmart.
Since these are no bake you could easily make these right before Santa comes and they’ll be super fresh or you could make ahead of time. We prefer to let them sit for a bit to harden up since the melted chocolate will firm up too.
