A delicious meal for the whole family to enjoy. Cook this entire meal in less than 40 minutes. Parmesan Garlic Butter Pasta with Barber Foods Chicken Cordon Bleu. Perfect for parties and entertaining.
I’ve tried to make Chicken Cordon Bleu before, and it just didn’t work well. I had a puddle of cheese all over my pan and a piece of chicken without much stuffing by the end. Instead of attempting again I just head to my local ShopRite or Wegmans and pick up Barber Foods raw stuffed chicken breast. They have tons of different fillings, and we’re huge fans of the classics!
I like to keep my meal simple and just do pasta that my family loves. Lately, my mini chef has been on a parmesan cheese kick, so she helped me make the pasta today. We used fresh parsley, grass fed butter, olive oil, garlic, sea salt, grated parmesan, and then mixed it with some bowties!
The chicken takes about 40ish minutes to cook so I’ll put that right into the oven and then get started on the sides. The main worry about every meal is the protein. With the Barber Food’s stuffed chicken in the oven, I get started cooking on the stove top. I love to use simple flavors and ingredients that will compliment the stuffed chicken breasts.

As soon as I’m topping the pasta with the parmesan cheese, my chicken is done! Look at that melty cheese oozing out! So delicious.
Parmesan Garlic Butter Pasta with Barber Foods Chicken Cordon Bleu
- 1 box of bow-ties
- 1 bulb garlic (, chopped)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- a handful of parsley (, chopped)
- salt to taste ((I use about 1 teaspoon, don't forget to salt your pasta water!))
- 3 tablespoons parmesan + more for topping if desired
- Boil pasta and drain reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet brown garlic in butter and olive oil.
- Once the garlic is softened toss it in with the bow-ties.
- Sprinkle in parsley, salt, and parmesan, add in pasta water until all pasta is dressed.
My favorite part is placing and then slicing into the chicken breast. I highly recommend letting it cool down a bit. I’ve been known to burn my tongue being impatient with letting food cool but believe me; it’s worth the wait. Plus, if you burn your tongue you really can’t taste anything, you’ll be missing out! Since the Barber Food stuffed chicken breasts are raw, you need to make sure they’re completely cooked. I insert a thermometer to make sure it hits 165 degrees, and most of the time it’s about 170+.
Isn’t that a pretty picture? My husband came home just as I was finished shooting and got to enjoy too! He was super happy, and so was I.. I just got away with a quick and easy meal for our family! Not much dishes to do either. For the pasta, you can just serve along with the chicken, and if you want to top it with even more parmesan, I know I do!
I found Barber Foods chicken breast right at my local Wegmans for only $3.99!
