My Sweet Baby is finally eating solids! Since I knew she’d be eating soon I wanted her to have the best highchair that we could get for her. I took her to our local baby gear store and looked at all they had to offer and there was one that stood out from the rest – one that we absolutely had to have, and it is the Peg Perego Siesta! I remember growing up Peg Perego was all my mother bought – and I even remember using my old stroller for my cat.. yes, my cat liked when I took her for walks in her stroller!
In November we went to the Biggest Baby Shower by Big City Moms and we actually got to meet the gal behind the facebook profile of Peg Perego! She was super sweet and showed us the Siesta highchair and all the functions and even their new products for 2013! We were so thrilled to get the chance to review the Siesta highchair! I’ve had it for a little while, but to finally use it and feed my daughter in her amazing highchair is a pleasure! All of the options this chair offers is perfect for us and especially for her!
One thing I really appreciate is that you can use it from birth thanks to their 5-point safety harness with passive restrain bar – which by the way is cloth diaper friendly, even with the extra insert for night use! You can use this highchair even into the toddler years as you can remove the tray and position the highchair at the dinner table. The seat fully reclines and even has 9 different height positions, easy to clean buttery-soft prima classe upholstery and everyone thinks it’s leather!
We just love love love all things black and hot pink for baby so this chair was perfect for our little punky princess! Plus it matches my kitchen appliances! Notice how the tray flips up also!? So amazed!
Babies can be messy and messy things can be fun for both of you with the dishwasher safe top try that is removable! I have a compact dishwasher and it fits perfectly. One of the main reasons we fell in love with the Siesta was the fold – it’s so compact!
When I need to move the highchair so Mikaylee can watch me do things in the kitchen I just push the GO button and it glides with ease across the floor and then locks once I release the buttons. Since baby has tiny little legs I adjust the foot rest to the highest position (3 positions in all) and it helps prevent her feet from dangling.
Also loving the rubber storage net in the back where we keep our time to eat book and flash cards!
Like all Peg Perego products, this beauty was made in Italy, and it’s worth every single penny. You can even get your own Peg Perego Siesta Highchair from our affiliate!
