Looking for Potty training 101?
You’re in luck, because Pull-Ups has your little tush covered, at least your toddlers! With their Big Kid Academy you can find excellent tips and helpful information while potty training. I recently wrote a post with 5 simple tips to potty train your toddler as well. While Kay isn’t fully potty trained, we’re on our way! I use the potty training app from Pull-Ups, which makes potty training even more exciting for kiddos.
We’re a huge fan of Disney, and love that Pull-Ups allows us to love them even more. Our daughter loves Minnie Mouse and Doc McStuffins. She’s even a fan of Ariel now, thanks to Pull-Ups! We also get rewarded when we buy Pull-Ups! I purchased a huge Doc McStuffin’s Chest and it was filled with tons of coupons AND it even had wipes! Kay is begging for more wipes.. I tend to like making my own, but how can I say no to “Mama, pwease! Minnie Mouse wipes!” Talking about coupons, you can find valuable coupons and offers on their website as well.
My favorite read from the Big Kid Academy was All About Potty Seats. The potty seat for us played a huge roll in actually getting sweet baby girl to actually be interested or not to distracted. We had to purchase 3 potty seats until we found the perfect one. We personally love and recommend the BabyBjorn Smart Potty. Simple and affordable. Not to mention easy to clean and use. The easier to the use, the more your child will use it. Kay was very weary of the on the potty seat. She was nervous and would cry. It really didn’t work. Then we had one with all the bells and whistles – that one left us with a distracted toddler doing anything but potty training.
I think what encourages her the most is that she has big girl Pull-Ups now. She loves to pick out from Minnie, Doc and Ariel! It really does make potty training fun. Plus when she does go in the Pull-Up it’s not a complete mess. I was pretty nervous when she had a BM, but it was fully contained. They’re comfortable and cute. We’re digging PullUps! Another worth mentioning find is that they have a velcro so if you don’t want to take toddlers pants off you can easily put on just like you would a diaper! Even better for when they have a BM you don’t have to slide it all down, talk about mess!
