My family loves Smashburger and we are so excited to be working with them featuring their new kids meal with Grilled Chicken Strips!
Did you ever wonder why they called it Smashburger? It’s because you want to smash your face right into the burger, they’re that good. Okay, so I’m kidding, but not really kidding. Smashburger’s name is all about the cooking method. They place a meatball shape of beef onto the hot grill, sear it, then smash it down with a smashing device they have. It creates the sear and delicious crispy burger we all know and love.
We were so excited to try Smashburger’s new, better-for-you, kids meal! Smashburger now has Grilled Chicken Strips PLUS Musselman’s Unsweetened Squeezable Apple Sauce! This new kids meal is so affordable, only $5.49!
A few months ago we couldn’t go to Smashburger due to my daughter’s food allergy and since she’s outgrown her FPIES triggers we can finally go out to eat as a family without worry. She can even finally eat chicken! She was allergic to chicken, soy and oatmeal for 3 years. She loves the Smashburger kids meal and always gets it with her favorite USDA Organic Horizon Milk®. Your child can also choose from Organic HONEST Kids® Juice or a fountain drink. The juice is sweetened with only fruit juice and contains only 1/2 the sugar you’d find in regular juice drinks for children, plus it has 100% the daily dose of Vitamin C.
My daughter always looks forward to picking out her juice and meal. I love that she now has an option to choose chicken too! I was so weary if she would like chicken after coming out of her FPIES allergy, but she loves it! It makes my heart so happy that she can finally enjoy more food. She was only eating burgers when we went out and now we can finally offer her a leaner protein option that’s just as delicious! Her new grilled chicken strips are made from all white meat! It’s a perfectly cooked and seasoned thin sliced chicken breast cut into strips. I admit to even taking a tender and of course I had to give her a bite of my burger in “exchange”, haha!
Hubby and I always get a burger or grilled chicken sandwich. I love that they offer CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF® that is FRESH never frozen. My little lady ate all of her grilled chicken strips and almost finished her applesauce too. This was actually the first time she ate applesauce! Usually she’s picky about new foods, but the fun package really got her – and it’s better for her than most side options! What’s great is we can save the applesauce for later since it’s in a re-closable pouch as apposed to a container with plastic pull off lid. Musselman’s Unsweetened Squeezable Applesauce has no added sodium, sugars, gluten, fat, trans fat and it’s Kosher! My daughter is a huge fan of Smashburger, so much so she even asks to go about once a day. If it was up to her we’d go everyday for lunch. It’s fun to go for a lunch date with hubby and baby girl and we typically go on his day off.

Your child can choose from BBQ, ranch, ketchup, mustard, or odd ball out like my toddler, nothing. I know, I know..
