Sweet Baby weighs as much as four Oranges!
I can’t believe Sweet Baby will be here in about 9 weeks! The time has flown by so fast. Yesterday my sister threw a shower for us. I cannot thank her enough for all that she did! It was absolutely incredible! I’m so very lucky to have a sister, and even more happy she’s going to be an Aunt! Hip Hip Hooray! She’s super crafty and made this adorable umbrella for over my chair where I sat to open gifts.
Unfortunately most of my pictures came out blurry, so this is the best of me and hubby!
About our baby: This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She’s probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby’s kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy. How far along? 31 Weeks 2 Days
Total weight gain: 24lbs
Maternity clothes? Not yet, just bigger sizes.
Stretch marks? Just by my scars from my gallbladder removal.
Sleep: When baby is sleeping
Best moment this week: My sister throwing me a baby shower!!
Worst moment this week: Traffic on the turnpike. Thankfully no bad moments other than that.
Miss Anything? Being able to lift more.
Movement: Yes!
Food cravings: Grapefruit, strawberries and watermelon!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Heartburn and sleepy!
Belly Button in or out? Small and closed in, but not pushed out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: We have our 32 week ultrasound tomorrow, can’t wait to see our Sweet Baby!
