Sweet Baby weighs as much as a Crenshaw Melon!
Sweet Baby is getting so big! She’s super active and I can feel every little movement! Not long until I can see her little fingers, toes, and her precious little face! We’re counting down the days now! Can you believe there’s only 26 days left until my due date? I feel like it was just yesterday we found out!
She’s also super active right before bed. Last night she was kicking and moving until 12 am! I finally fell asleep and when I woke up she woke up with me. Can’t wait to snuggle her up already!
About our baby: Your baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. She now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. She’s shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered her body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected her skin during her nine-month amniotic bath. Your baby swallows both of these substances, along with other secretions, resulting in a blackish mixture, called meconium, will form the contents of her first bowel movement. About me: So excited and counting down the days 26 more until my due date!
How far along? 36 Weeks 2 Days
Total weight gain: 27lbs
Maternity clothes? Still just 2 maternity shirts. Not planning on buying maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? I have some on both sides of my belly.
Sleep: Not much at night, but plenty of naps!
Best moment this week: Washing all Mikaylee’s clothes – cuteness!!
Worst moment this week: Getting up during the night.. it’s been rough! Not just to pee, but to blow my nose! Pregnancy rhinitis?!
Miss Anything? Subs!
Movement: Yes!
Food cravings: Citrus!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw ground meat/chicken.
Gender: Baby GIRL!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Sleepy, congested.
Belly Button in or out? It’s officially out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Packing mine and Mikaylee’s bag for the hospital!
