This is my favorite post workout snack! I always make a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana right after my workout or when I want a little extra protein. It tastes like a dessert, but it’s filled with super foods and healthy, good for you ingredients!

I am a huge fan of crunch in my food. Bananas are mush and have no texture aside from mush and gooey. I love adding peanuts, mini chocolate chips, natural peanut butter, chia seeds and hemp seeds. All these toppings make protein packed! It has protein, omega 3, omega 6, iron, vitamin e, and antioxidants! Add on some rolled oats for a chewy texture and a boost of fiber! The combination of flavors is perfection. If you want it to be even more indulgent, like an ice cream, you could partially freeze your banana! Take it a step further by turning your bananas into nice cream and topping with all of these toppings. You really can’t go wrong with this recipe. It’s so good and it’s good for you! It’s an easy healthy snack recipe that I haven’t gotten sick of because it’s just so darn good!
Post Workout Snack Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon hemp hearts
- 1/8 cup peanuts
- 1 teaspoon chocolate chips
- Place your banana on a plate and drizzle with the peanut butter.
- Add the toppings and enjoy!
