Every year we celebrate New Year’s Eve. It’s a new year! I love the tradition of the Chinese New Year festival. During the Chinese New Year the tradition is to visit family and friends, cooking/bringing them special meals, watching fireworks and gift giving. It all begins on the second new moon after the winter solstice and ending on the full moon 14 days later. In my family growing up we would just celebrate by ordering in Chinese or going to a Chinese Buffet. Then we would make fortune cookies with my mom. It was fun and memories I’ll always cherish. We’re excited to try Tai Pei® Good Fortune in Every Box™ Eggrolls!
Memorial Day Outside Fun

My goodness is it just me or is this year going by super fast? Soon it will be Memorial Day and I’m getting a few things ready for the kiddos to play with so they can have fun too! Some people think they need to break the bank doing so but not us! We’re all about good quality fun at great prices Everyone will most likely be down the beach, but we’ll be at grandma and grandpa’s Barbeque (BBQ) outside enjoying hopefully sunny weather on Memorial Day!
Don’t Bully My Baby | Stop Bullying Before It Starts

Kay loves to go to the park.
We love to take her almost every day, as long as the sun is shining. We’ve been going to our local park for awhile now and most of the time we’re the only ones there. Lately the weather has been a bit warmer so more families are coming to the park, hooray for outside play!
Kay runs around, climbs all around, and loves to go on the slides! Her favorite thing is the slide and she probably goes on the slide the majority of the time we’re at the park. On a recent visit she was heading towards the slide she loves and a child said “Eww, looks it’s a baby!” right in front of his mother. How would you react if your child spoke that way to another child, even if she is just a baby? Granted and thankfully my daughter doesn’t understand or care about what he said, YET. When did this behavior become okay? Why didn’t this mother say anything to her child?
