Homemade Sloppy Joe with Crinkle Cut Potato Fries
Posted by Courtney Lopez on
Homemade Sloppy Joe paired with freshly fried and crinkle cut potatoes. No room for a can mix here.. I’m really not even sure what is in that.. I have a few tips for you from how to make your own taco seasoning, making the perfect ground beef without any effort (which will be coming soon!), and even how to make sloppy joe better than the can using KETCHUP! Crazy, right? Ketchup has the sweet flavor that most associate with a sloppy joe. In this post I’m going to share how to make the sloppy joe using left over taco meat. We are doing a FPIES Food Trial of Beef and I’m force to create multiple recipes using beef. I figured what better way than make a HUGE batch of ground beef with taco seasoning and turn it into a few delicious and easy to prepare dishes.
One Ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream | TruMoo Chocolate Milk

This is a partnered post for TruMoo with SocialMoms.
With Sweet Baby finally passing so many foods (just recently passed wheat, hooray!) we can enjoy more treats! Our one hurdle is ice cream and cake. She still hasn’t had either since she can’t have eggs and couldn’t have a flour until recently. We actually have a powerful blender that can pulverize anything and I heard about TruMoo. TruMoo is flavored milk that is nutritious and delicious! I feel a little better that it contains no artificial growth hormones and also has less sugar and calories than other chocolate milks. TruMoo DOESN’T have any high fructose corn syrup either!

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. <— That song would make me cry tears up until just last year. It’s the song my mother would sing to me every night before she would put me to bed. I never thought I would be able to smile while singing it again until I had Sweet Baby. She is in every word my saving grace. My 2014 New Year’s Resolution is to plow through FPIES trials and create more fun and delicious recipes for her to enjoy.
In the past week we’ve come up with some fun smoothie recipes, a biscuit recipe, and even a brownie recipe during the Christmas holiday. I feel so blessed to have these sweet moments and recipes to enjoy with her. The best part is that she’s doing it all with me right by my side. She truly loves to be in the kitchen, just like her mommy!
