The best car seat for a truck is hands down the Diono RadianRXT Convertible Car Seat!   We recently purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 for Chris, but finding a sleek enough car seat so that someone could sit in the front was proving impossible.  Chris also hates girly colors in his manly truck so we were so happy that Diono has a bunch of different colors to choose from.  We actually went with the Plum, for the Ravens!   Eventually, we may get a Ravens logo stitched into it as you can actually take the cover off the seat.

For the last few years I’ve made conscious decisions about the products my family uses.  I used to shop at wholesale stores, stock pile, and even couponed too!  I’d say for the past 2 years I’ve basically only shopped for our every day needs at Whole Foods.  We shop for the products we need and they carry brands that we can trust for our family.  Like Tom’s of Maine!  No animal ingredients or testing, ever and only natural ingredients.  #FreshNaturally 

Tom’s of Maine Deodorant was my first step towards a better chemical free me.   I love the refreshing lemongrass and fresh apricot scents.  I stopped using harsh chemical filled deodorant and never looked back.  Suffering from axillary hyperhidrosis made the switch a little difficult at first.  I admit that I thought I’d be forced to go back, but in reality I think that my armpits were just reacting to all of toxic artificial crud they put in conventional anti-perspirant.  Tom’s also makes a bunch of other Natural Personal Care Products that can be found at Whole Foods too!

We were given the chance to review the 2015 Mazda CX-5 for a week.

I’m still in a lease with my current car and actively looking for our next lease.  Having driven a Mazda when I was a nanny I love the ride already.  My main concern for our next lease is safety and price.  We reviewed the Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD  and the price tag of this configuration is $31,760. (Starting at $21,545)

The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) gave the 2014 Mazda CX-5 TOP SAFETY PICK+ when equipped with available Smart City Brake Support.  The Mazda earn good scores all around, including the small overlap front.  Our previous choice just received a poor in the small overlap front test, so now we’re most likely leasing the Mazda, which isn’t a bad thing at all.  I’m pretty much sold on this car and may even finance if the price is right after negotiating.

aden + anais is a favorite of mine, not just for baby either!  For awhile I would snuggle up with Sweet Baby in her aden + anais dream blanket, and would constantly wish for one of my own.  What mommy wouldn’t want a snuggly, cuddly, cozy, blanket to keep her warm?  I just loved the dream blanket so much and couldn’t even explain my excitement when I heard about the daydream blanket, for adults!
